Lacey

4 year old female - $150 adoption donation

This pretty, sweet, but very shy little girl is the perfect pet for a low-key family with a lot of TLC to give.  After spending a year in a 3X3 cage, she is nervous around people, especially little ones, but very much wants to make friends.  She is very submissive, and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home.  She is not housebroken, but she’s smart and does appear to be learning after only 2 weeks.  Lacy is crate trained.  She has a soft bay, which she generally uses only to get attention or when the other dogs get her going outside in the yard. This sweetheart just needs some love and attention to bring her out of her shell.

Update from her foster on August 26th, After a month with Lacy, I find it very hard to believe she's 4 years old. While she's still a pretty shy around strangers she's finally coming out of her shell. She plays like a puppy with my Corgi  and she also is almost completely housebroken -  just follows the other girls outside on command. All of this a big change from when she arrived here.
